Part - I Examination

2. Entrepreneurship Development and Business Communication (Pass) – 100;

3. Financial Accounting (Hons) – 100;

4. Indian Financial System and (Hons) – 100;

5. Language – 100;

6. Environmental Studies – 50.

Part - II Examination

Tentative month of Examination – May

1. Business Environment and Business Economics (Pass) – 100;

2. Business Mathematics and Statistics (Pass) – 100;

3. Business Regulatory Framework (Pass) – 100;

4. Information Technology and its Application in Business (Pass) – 60 (T); 40 (Pr);

5. Direct and Indirect Taxation (Hons) – 100;

6. Cost and Management Accountancy (Hons) – 100.

Part - III Examination

Tentative month of Examination – April Subjects Offered:

1. Corporate Accounting (Hons) – 100;

2. Financial Management (Hons) – 100;

3. Auditing (Hons) – 100;

4. Financial Statement Analysis (Hons) – 100

Students of all the years must secure the minimum class attendance and pass the Test Examination conducted by the college for being eligible to appear at the Part – I, Part – II and Part – III Examination. Dates of college examinations will be duly notified well in advance.

At Postgraduate Level: M. Com

Beginning of Class

M. Com classes start in the month of September.

Examination Structure

The college conducts the Post-Graduate examinations as follows:

i. M. Com. Part-I Examination at the end of First year- tentatively in the month of August

ii. M. Com. Part-II Examination at the end of Second year- tentatively in the month of August Mark sheets to the M. Com. candidates are issued by the college. Certificate is prepared and issued to the candidates after endorsement of the Vice Chancellor of the University of Calcutta.

OBSERVANCE OF DISCIPLINE

• Loitering and shouting in the college campus or in the common room and canteen during the college hours are strictly prohibited.
• Writing or painting or putting up posters on the college walls is strictly prohibited.
• Students must carry their Identity Cards with them. They are required to produce the card whenever asked for by the authorities, failing which they may not be allowed to join classes, appear in examinations, pay fees, or enjoy any facility that the college provides.
• Smoking is strictly prohibited in the college campus.
• Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited.
• Mobile phones are strictly prohibited in the class rooms and corridors, Library and stairs.
• In case of class attendance, rules of the University and College shall be strictly adhered to.
• Attendance in classes, at all College Examinations, and Class Tests is compulsory. Disciplinary action shall be taken for non-attendance or habitually irregular attendance.
• In case of any query or difficulty students are advised to contact the teachers or college office.
• It is binding on each and every student to inform the College office in writing about change of address, if any.
• Admission to the college binds a student to be loyal to college rules and discipline and to all directives that may be issued from time to time by the college authority.
• Violation of college discipline by any student will invite strong disciplinary action such as transfer from college, expulsion etc.
• The college does not encourage simultaneous admission to different parallel courses. In any such case the college authority will not entertain any sort of request / adjustment.
