Snugged amidst Bowbazar and College Street crossing, Goenka College of Commerce and Business Administration encloses within its cloisters a rich cultural legacy of a century. Here, within its four high walls, the soil smells fresh with the fragrance of memories of the bygone times when commercial studies began to put its footprints into the ever widening horizon of new thoughts and knowledge. With the gradual march of time, the study of commerce anchored its roots firmly and Goenka College became the premier institution of teaching commerce in the city.

Dear friends,
You are perhaps well aware that we have an informal alumni association which was formed in the year 1998 with the help of Late Prof. Amar Banerjee(AB), the then teacher-in-charge of the College. Two re-unions were held, but nothing was legalised at that time. To formalise the whole process several meetings were held with the present principal Dr.Debasish Banerjee, who is also an alumnus of this college. Finally on 6th august, 2011 it was decided that a notification will be given in the Times of india for the meeting to be held on 27 August, 2011 at the College Seminar Hall for this purpose. Please come on 27th August, 2011 to share your thoughts. On that date we will form a Committee, prepare a constitution & formulate the future
plan.
